skymama 35 #1 October 31, 2007 For the past month, Publix grocery store had candy bags "buy one, get one free", so I bought my candy that way. I think I forgot how much I had every time I went, I should have stopped. I have: Peanut M&M's Butterfinger Reeses Hershey Miniatures Mixed bag of Milky Way, Snickers and 3 musketeers Twix After I poured the candy in the bowl, it took my son all of about 2 minutes to find it and stuff one of everything in his backpack. BillyVance 34 #16 October 31, 2007 NOTHING. I live on a street that hasn't seen trick or treaters in the 7 1/2 years that I've lived in my house. It's not exactly a safe street to trick or treat on, the speed limit is 40 mph and houses are far apart. Even then, in my day, trick or treaters were EVERYWHERE in the 70's in my old neighborhood in Huntsville, AL. My folks tell me they haven't seen any trick or treaters the last several years, and they can count on their two hands the number they've had ring their doorbell the last 25 years. It's much safer to go to a church-sponsored trunk or treat gathering, which is where we're taking our little girl to for the first time.
