I think this is an excellent way to kick off the Florida winter season. A small amount of silliness is always required. The serious stuff will start shortly with the Turkey-Day boogie. All the organizers had groups ranging from 16 down to two organizers with groups of 5. It was tough to find jumpers who weren't already on a load. We had two Otters flying so I had to grab a group between loads. All the experienced people were busy with each other or jumping with new people. When Boxman and I were trying to figure how what to do, we were uncertain if they would work at all. He had to cut the felt off the clasp and punch the snap through the thin plastic. We weren't sure that they would stay on during a first jump. That they survived for a second jump was strictly bonus. There wasn't really any guideline to work from. In the pics, you can see that Mark was wrestling with his. You know that some redneck found them and will wear them on Friday night at the Crystal.
