winds aloft history

Try contacting the airport(s) and asking for that ASOS weather information in your area. They collect all that weather data and I am positive they could give you what you're looking for.

Wow! Thanks, Lou!
I'll be hours and hours running around checking all that interesting info throughout all those links!

Mike: I have seen reference to past winds aloft mentioned on here before. They usually mention weather underground site. Try www.wunderground.com

Weather Underground has an archive of ground winds, but not aloft winds.

I don't know of any site that archives aloft winds.

Come on everyone. Upper winds and winds aloft both describe the type of air that circulates inside the airplane on the clime up. its the air that no one will take responsibility for. Who would want to know its speed?

Phew! That's foul!
