LisaH 0 #33 January 31, 2008 Quote "Learn"? As in "logically understand the errors"? or As is "not doing that again"? I would have to say Yes and No. (and it depends on the "mistake") As in "I should not have done that again." I'm just a sucker for punishment. Be yourself! happythoughts 0 #34 January 31, 2008 Most events have a positive and negative side to them. Example - drinking Saturday evening. paying for it Sunday morning. I keep enjoying some of the same events repeatedly, but I am willing to accept a limited negative part. It is a type of pattern, but not exactly the same. Some are blonde, some brunettes. I save the redheads for the days when I feel I deserve to be punished.

YES Lisa, I ALWAYS learn something from a mistake, wether it is myine or someone elses! I sure did..and took about 3 independent courses in the same dept; made honors 2x and sold a lot of work cause I got 'good' at it. I know my stuff in printing film, but I'm making a lot of mistakes in digital shooting. Once I stop making mistakes I'll know I have 'done' it rightOne of my BEST 'learning from success stories' has been recent I'm gong to bed before LATE O'clock...no sense in taking from my own self Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo! moto89 0 #40 January 31, 2008 I wouldn't say it's black and white like that. I do some stupid shit over and over, but then somethings you only have to do once to know better than to never do again.Less talking, more flying.
Bolas 5 #41 January 31, 2008 I truly try. I admit I made the mistake. Own up to it. Laugh at it if it was really stupid. Figure out what caused it. Try to change or eliminate what I think is the source. As long as I'm making new mistakes, great. If the same ones are happening over an over, that's when I lose patience. I don't always succeed, but I never not try.Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.
