Recommended Posts

Opps, I forgot to add for about main size.

I'm plan to buy new Spectre size of 135 and great condition for body weight 175 also?

Thanks again!:S

PS. I heard that Spectre is great opening and very gentle landing, correct? Make sure my future for safe on kind of canopy!

Assume you are a new or soon to be jumper. For a new jumper 135sq ft at 175lbs (close to 200 geared up) is life threatening stuff. OK to dream about the future .....but talk to your DZ instructors about realistic first steps.

A Spectre is a lovely first canopy, but not in that size. You'd want something around the 200 sq ft mark.

Your exit weight (you + all your gear) is about 200lbs. Wingloading is the size of the canopy (in sq ft) divided by your exit weight. For jumpers with less than 100 jumps, a wingloading of 1.0 or less is highly recommended.

That means that a canopy around the 200 sq ft mark would suit you nicely.
