masterrig 1 #2 March 8, 2006 Depending on the amount of fraying and/or tearing. I have repaired them. When there is inconsequential fraying, I have carefully hot-knifed around the crossport. If, the tear is going from leading edge to trailing edge direction, it cause some really funky flight and performance. If, it is really serious, the rib may have to be replaced.
