BillyVance 34 #1 May 3, 2008 I just watched it on TV tonight. Always a blast watching it. And the ending is always a tear-jerker when E.T. says goodbye to his friends. But one thing always bothered me.... Why the fucking hell did it take 20 years to release the damn movie to VHS or DVD for that matter??? I think I read something about that but I can't remember any details. I mean, other movies have had much bigger success, like Star Wars. Why didn't they do the same thing? prepheckt 0 #4 May 3, 2008 I wonder, if he was able to make the bikes fly, couldn't he have floated himself back up to the ship? It also amazes me how Drew Barrymore went from a little girl to a coked out whore? Cest la vie eh?? I just don't remember it ever showing on TV for the first 20 years after it came out in the theatres either."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
