Buy some of the other brands out there. I am disapointed in my Gatorz. The rubber ear pads have became unglued twice now and they only offer to keep shipping me replacements that the glue won't last on either.

Give the folks at Liquid Eyewear a call and let them know you are a skydiver and they will give you a hook up. The guy who owns Liquid used to own Gatorz (before they started making them in China) and has a vastly better product now.

I just bought a pair and they say Made in USA... Is this really not the case?

The older ones do have USA stamped on the inside of the arm and can still be found new on shelves. According to the former owner, Gatorz has since outsourced to China. If you compare an old pair(pre sale) to a new pair(post sale), there is a noticeable difference not only in the aluminum frame but in the optical quality of the lenses, which is pretty poor. The new designs by Liquid have a higher quality of Aluminum used in the frame and offers normal, polarized and transitional lenses. All of which have an ANSI rating, are guaranteed for life and are 100% made and assembled in the USA( Yuma, Arizona to be exact).
