cderham 0 #1 June 3, 2008 Yep it jumped up and bit me right on the shin. Was riding the dirt park for the first time since they completly rebuilt it last weekend. They Had a really nice step up to double (8ft gap) straight into a double (inside and outside line) berm. Well lets just say I made the step up, cased the double and went head first into the small inside berm. must have slipped a pedal. The end result was a 3 hour wait in the ER for 7 stiches. I think I need to stick to my Velocity for the rush I need or wear my shin guards. This is 3 times in the last few weeks that I have pushed the limits allittle to much on 2 wheels. When will I learn I need to just jump for my adrenaline rush. Seems to be safer. Took this picture as I was waiting in the ER watching the Hockey game. Icon134 0 #2 June 3, 2008 Damn straight... I laid my bike down on the side of the road last fall. Scraped myself up pretty good but fortunately it didn't require stitches and I was able to skydive the following weekend. It did result in some nice questions while at Eloy about how biking is so much more dangerous then Skydiving... Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife... cderham 0 #5 June 3, 2008 Ya well I was where we all planned to go until they changed there mind Friday. Thats ok I made 3x's as many jumps as they did because I didn't have the hangover factor they did. lol Chris It's Jimmy Time!! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Team-Fast-As-Fuck/6099474213
cderham 0 #6 June 3, 2008 I'm still planning on jumping this weekend. asked the ER doc. he said I could do whatever I wanted to. Should be fine. Will probably go back out to the park Friday 9this time with shin pads) to kick that doubles ass. Think I'm going to get a shin pad to wear for jumping this weekend because if I hit it on exit I don't think I will be concentraiting on the dive to much. livendive 8 #7 June 3, 2008 You don't even have to get on a dirt track. The attachment shows folks in a street race yesterday in Monterrey (one bicyclist was killed in the accident). At least they didn't have to wait long for a cop. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)

(just my opinion) As I understand it the driver had been drinking and fell asleep at the wheel... Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
