ChickenSandwich 0 #1 June 11, 2008 How many of you lazy bastards regularly fuck over your co-workers by pushing work that you're supposed to do off onto them? What, exactly, do you do? How often do you do it? Why do you do it? Have their been any ramifications to your being a total asshole? What have they been? Were the ramifications harsh enough for you to change your ways? Why or why not?
metalslug 36 #2 June 11, 2008 In my company, and in many others, co-workers lack the authority to push their work to other co-workers. Likewise, co-workers lack the authority to accept work from other co-workers, and if they do then they are as much to blame for accepting it as they are for pushing it. That's what management positions are for, to supervise human resources. I receive a daily updated "to do" list of tasks that are compiled and prioritised by one of the directors and it works a treat. I do what's on the list, nothing more and nothing less. You're working at the wrong place, it seems. No 'mericans were harmed during the making of this post. popsjumper 2 #3 June 11, 2008 Every skydiver at every DZ screws over the workers every time they leave the place with all their trash thrown all over the floor and ground. I'm collecting addresses so I can return their trash to their front lawn at midniight. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Nightingale 0 #4 June 11, 2008 I'm usually the one who gets work pushed on to them. I accept the work and do my best to help when my co-worker is in an actual crisis that is not of their own making. I accept the work when my boss asks me to. I do not accept the work when they didn't get their work done because they were on eBay all day. A lack of planning on their part does not equal an emergency on mine.
