What song puts a tear in your eye when you hear it

Baby Mine from Dumbo.

The single saddest scene in movie history.[:/]

maybe so, but TV is owned by Dr David Banner thumbing a ride with that song in the background. It's even called "Lonely Man" - how sad can it get?

sniff - it's so sad, he only wants a cure, and they keep picking on him. Sniff - don't look at me, I just have a bit of something caught in my eye.

that and Wango Tango will make anyone cry

...
Driving is a one dimensional activity - a monkey can do it - being proud of your driving abilities is like being proud of being able to put on pants

You know, if you think about it, Disney seems to have a *thing* for orphaning their characters. How about Bambi? and the lion king? and it's not like the babies are already orphans. During the movie, the parent is either dragged away or dies a horrible grisly death. it's a little, um, disturbing, dontcha think?
Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup!

Simba's Mom is still around.

Never Ending Math Equation
By Isaac Brock (Modest Mouse)
Cover by Mark Kozeleck (Sun Kil Moon)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zV3noldab34

I'm the same as I was when I was 6 years old
And oh my God I feel so old
I don't really feel anything
On a plane, I can see the tiny lights below
And oh my God, they look so alone
Do they really feel anything?
Oh my God, I've gotta gotta gotta gotta move on
Where do you move when what you're moving from
Is yourself?
The universe works on a math equation
that never even ever really even ends in the end
Infinity spirals out creation
We're on the tip of its tongue, and it is saying
We aint sure where you stand
You aint machines and you aint land
And the plants and the animals, they are linked
And the plants and the animals eat each other
Oh my God and oh my cat
I told my Dad what I need
Well I know what I have and want
But I don't know what I need
Well, he said he said he said he said
"Where we're going I'm dead."

In My Life
John Lennonn

There are places i'll remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends i still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life i've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When i think of love as something new
Though i know i'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know i'll often stop and think about them
In my life i love you more

Though i know i'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know i'll often stop and think about them
In my life i love you more
In my life i love you more
"...And once you're gone, you can't come back
When you're out of the blue and into the black."
Neil Young

I am glad someone else put Sixx A.M. up here. I give a lot of props to Nikki, he's been through a fuck ton of shit, and the Heroin Diaries was/is an awesome fucking album!!!

Yeah, I traditional folk music anyway, but it REALLY didn't hit until I put my (now ex but it doesn't matter) father-in-law in the ground. I was a barer, and trying to stand grave side and listen was too much.

Regardless of your gender - if you've been used and spit out before...you'll relate. Youtube has a live version, but the album cut is pretty mellow. Goes good with Jameson.

All Those Promises (Janis Ian)

I don’t need to know her name
It’s enough for me to know she is
I know she is not to blame
Did you tell her you were free
after all you said to me?

And all those promises
that you made and left behind
were filled with emptiness
You were never really mine
Every sweet caress
was just your second best
Broken promises

Baby, I’m amazed
at how long I still believed
How many lies it takes
before someone like me sees
All the tears you cry
never can deny
that you make love a lie
All the tears you cry
they never could deny
that you make love a lie

So when you see her, hold her tight
Don’t forget to whisper in her ear
When she wakes alone at night
holding only memories
maybe she will think of me

And all those promises
that you made me from the start
were filled with emptiness
from the desert of your heart
Every sweet caress
was just your second best
Broken promises

Baby, I’m amazed
at how long I still believed
How many lies it takes
before someone like me sees
All the tears you cried
they never could deny
that you made love a lie
All those tears you cried
They never could deny
that you made love a lie

Normaly I love music... pretty much all music. However, several years ago, after my father died, I made a video of his ash dive and put it to the song... Isarael Kamawiwaole-Over the Rainbow and then recently I lost my fiance in a skydiving plane crash. Her parents asked if I would put something together for her memorial servide so I was able to throw something together and I put it to Bryan Adam-Flying. Either one of these songs throws me into tears just by hearing them... I can't help it.
