I have had around 20 questions asked of people who are offering between $1000- and $2000 each for a phone that i can buy outright for $835. They keep telling me it is all about supply and demand and in their country they have sold out of them and the there are lines waiting weeks for the new shipments to arrive. I am going to buy a few iphones tomorrow and start making some money. Have already sold both of our iphones. One for $1300 and one for $1750. You see, we dont mind, we will wait and go and buy one each for $835 outright. the ones we have sold are even locked to our network but they dont care. .Karnage Krew Gear Store . bigway 4 #3 July 13, 2008 Mate, if you look at ebay listings in Australia you will see bids over $1000 for the same phone with up to 44 bidders. People just think it is sold out. Protect myself against scammers? Just used paypal. Payment cleared instantly and spoke to the guy on the phone before agreeing to sale and he had 100% feedback from 600+ people. It comes down to supply and demand in certain countries i guess. Look at asia, people are still lined up waiting for the new shipments to come in. (2 weeks away) .Karnage Krew Gear Store . I just can't see paying ridiculous premium just to have it a month or so earlier. Same thing happened when the Datsun 240z came out, then again when the Mazda Miata was introduced.
