flyangel2 2 #1 July 21, 2008 After 100 plus miles, the adventure has come to an end What a great way to spend the summer! For anyone that is thinking about doing some section hiking on the PCT, I say "go for it". http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=3459&l=a0821&id=1280537913May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. flyangel2 2 #3 July 21, 2008 The feet did well. It was the damn bug bites that got me at one time If those little f&*kers would just stay off me, I wouldn't kill them! mouth 0 #5 July 21, 2008 I'm so glad you three made it back safely and had a good time. I envy you two the guts to trek out by yourselves on those trails. I'm scared of snakes, bears, bugs, snakes, strange people, and SNAKES. Thanks for taking us along through pictures and the blogs. Where are y'all going next? HUGS and KISSES to you both, Lisa -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.

riddler 0 #9 July 21, 2008 QuoteDisneyland!!! I'm scared of Disneyland. The waterfall pics are wonderful, and it looks like Rose had a good time as well. Edit - wait, is that Rose? She looks lighter, but maybe it's the camera.Trapped on the surface of a sphere. XKCD

flyangel2 2 #11 July 21, 2008 Yup, that's Rose. When you say she looks lighter, do you mean in weight or color? I was feeding her extra before we left to add 2 pounds to her frame. After that many miles she has lost it. So, she is in fact "lighter". Lisa lost weight, but damn, I don't think I lost any May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. riddler 0 #14 July 22, 2008 Quote When you say she looks lighter, do you mean in weight or color? I meant in color - she was always kinda thin Probably was the outdoor lighting that brought out her highlights. Glad you had a good time, and glad you're back safe.Trapped on the surface of a sphere. skymama 35 #15 July 22, 2008 Quote Lisa lost weight, but damn, I don't think I lost any Aw, I bet you don't really need to anyway! Glad you're all home safe and sound. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
flyangel2 2 #16 July 22, 2008 What's the old saying? You can never be too rich or too thin. I got me some good "hiking legs". Phil, Rose did get a haircut before the trip, so maybe that brought out the highlights.
