I've come to acknowledge that, whether animal or a person, death royally sucks - that and old age didn't pan out too well. My dog is like family too; animals are really special. Lastchance 0 #33 July 11, 2008 Man I am so sorry. I know exactly how you feel. We lost our Jasmine dog in Jan to bone cancer. She was 11. And 2 weeks ago we lost our Yukon dog to the same damn thing. He was 15. I miss them both terribly. We did adopt Diver dog 2 1/2 months ago. So we have a new companion to keep us company. Again I'm so sorry. I know how hard it is.
