virgin-burner 1 #1 August 31, 2008 : 8 : 0 two trackdives, one coached by someone well known, five sitdives with an ex australian national champion, good mate and my former secondary instructor, plus, i tried my luck at some head-down too, that one solo, and it went amazingly well. i'm impressed with my skills, really am! yesterday wasnt my day for landings tough, out of three jumps, two ended with me rolling over. i still stood in the end on one tough.. except for the nutcase dumping me, that was an amazing weekend! didnt end up going to the boogie, didnt go to the swiss championships, but got really wasted saturdays anyway and ended up sleeping in the bar once again on the couch. man, did i have a headache this morning, i must be getting old or something.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. jloirsdaan 0 #3 September 1, 2008 0:2:0 FINALLY made more than 1 jump in a weekend since I broke my femur last July. I did just enough to keep current and these are the 1st jumps I've made in just under 6 months. Good to be back in the air and back for good! No problems this weekend, and finally got some gear. I sold mine 6 months ago because I gained weight, and didn't want another broken leg. Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

Don't think I need to eat for a week now. Should have stayed and made a sunset load. Beautiful evening after a rainy kind of weekend.
Peej 0 #5 September 1, 2008 0:9:0 No jumps for me thanks to some hectic wind but i did get to shoot 9 different kinds of machine guns at a range yesterday afternoon. Including 4 WW2 weapons, a Vickers, a Sten gun, a Thompson and something else of which i can't remember the name. I'm not much of a shooter but it sure was fun. skybytch 259 #16 September 2, 2008 6k:2:1 6k - The altitude at which my first "real" AFF student pulled. 2 jumps - an AFF Cat A on Friday and a really fun tracking (diving?) jump Saturday (on which I felt seriously inadequate as I was one of two people on the 7 way that didn't have a video camera). Would've done more jumping but we're getting sympathy winds here. Spent Sunday drinking cocktails and playing XBox and had a nice lunch and chat with Krisanne and her monkey b/f today. Beer paid for first "real" AFF student jump.
PhreeZone 15 #17 September 2, 2008 1 Pinched nerve in the neck:12:0 Spent 2 days at the boogie jumping out of the Skyvan. I did a couple of tandem videos, a coach jump, some freefly jumps with Daizey working on her taking docks, and then filmed 2 raft dives. It was a good weekend! The neck is so painful that I can't look either direction and have had ice/heat on it since yesterday, I can't wait for the Dr to open in the morning to get it looked at and fixed. No mo camera jumps for a while until it is healed. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

Do I owe for my 1st jump where I was proposed to???? I don't know, but on Saturday everyone sure was coming up with a lot of reasons for why I owed beer....My favorite weekend of skydiving, by far. I did the 3 tandems first then went to AFF 1 after round school. #3 - No beers yet. Apparently the students don't get held to the "beer rule" yet. But I did get the suggestions of what to bring, which now resides on a sticky note in my wallet. Always be kinder than you feel.
