What is your all time favorite TV show?

Recommended Posts

1950s Superman
1960s Ripcord and Seahunt
1970s M*A*S*H*
1980s Hill Street Blues
1990s Seinfeld
2000s The West Wing

As you can see I was a bit torn in the 1960s. A little zig this way, or a little zag that way, and right now I could be arguing the merits of regulators and the crappy state of instruction on some SCUBA site . . .

Dexter

Entourage

How i met your mother (i prefer it over friends because it's a little more edgy and not as full of morals)

Californication

LOST

Family Guy

Simpsons

When i was a kid: Airwolf, Knightrider, The A Team and McGuyver all rocked my world.

I think I'm going to start a letter writing campaign to television programmers about what they broadcast during times like this (hurricane hitting). Of course all of the major stations are all hurricane, all the time. I've got a pretty good seat for that so not interested in watching it on tv.

Seems like a pretty good time for a good marathon. Cheers maybe? Plenty of good options mentioned in this thread. Maybe a "Best of the 80's" marathon? Something in half hour or hour segments so I won't be left hanging when the power goes out. I've got a buddy's Lonesome Dove DVDs sitting here, but I don't want to put them on because I'll be pissed if the power goes out halfway through!!!
Killing threads since 2004.

Wow, where to begin....

I'm a bit of a Trekkie too, I like them all and still remember watching the original when it was brand new. My favorite is DS9, the real jewel in the crown, because the writing and character development were so good - great actors too.
Jeri Ryan was great in Voyager too...

Let's see, what else ?

The Avengers
Dead Like Me
Joan of Arcadia
Ripcord
Night Stalker (the original)
Twilight Zone (original)
Night Gallery
Saturday Night Live
The Bullwinkle Show
Mad About You
Two and a Half Men
Dexter
Almost Live (local Seattle show of the nineties)
The Prisoner
Pee Wee's Playhouse
Three Stooges
Bugs Bunny

Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In

Very, very interesting. Giggle-box Goldie and Ruth Buzzi (as Gladys) cracked me up.
Some diddlywhoppers became the vogue in the heyday:
-You bet your Bippy.
-Sock it to me.

Edited to add: Like CMiller, Rocky & Bullwinkle is right up there sharing top billing.
-Fractured Fairy Tales always had me in stitches.
-Mr Peabody's Improbable History, with Sherman, was really good stuff.
-The narration for the R&B shorts was better than the actual shorts.
My reality and yours are quite different.
I think we're all Bozos on this bus.
