It's actually the 4th Thursday of the month, so the next couple are.....

28th July - Pre-Nationals Piss-Up! (If you're entering you'll need to travel to Hibaldstow on the Friday)

25th August - My Birthday! So i'm gonna hit the town after if anyone interested, and not the Walkabout

The London Skydivers already meet up on regular occasions to drink, now its time to meet up and jump!

I think its bad moving the venue coz people always know where and when to find us.

We'll have to send a Rendez-vous team to the Pyke to redirect people

Here's what Caz sent to us on the group:

Hi there guys

This is a quick note to let you all know that the next drinks
evening will be on the 28th July. However, we have decided to
change venue this month to give somewhere else a trial run, and then
we'll hold a vote to see whether people would prefer to stay at the
new place or to go back to the Montagu Pyke.

Alex Vrettos (who is a member of this group) has kindly offererd us
a venue just around the corner from the MP. He is one of the
managers from the Curzon Cinema in Soho and they have a bar there
that sits 250-300 people which is obviously more than enough for our
needs.

The cinema is on Shaftesbury Avenue and here is a little map showing

You will just need to mention at the door that you're with the
London Skydivers and they'll let you through to the bar area.

There will be a projector there, so we can bring our own dvds along
to play if we so wish, and there is also a cafe on the floor above
if anyone feels like cheating and eating!

Anyway, I'll send out another notice nearer the time as usual, but
in the mean time if you know anyone who usually comes along who
doesn't use this group please can you let them know of the change of
venue.

sorry I was meaning to post that on here too but I've been a little busy recently and totally forgot.

Hi all,

just another reminder that this Thursday (28th July 05) is the next London Skydivers drinks evening.

As mentioned in this post, we have changed the venue this month - it will be at the Curzon Cinema in Soho, and the bar area has been kindly reserved for us by one of the managers, Alex Vrettos who is on the London Skydivers mailing list.

If you know of anyone who sometimes comes and who isn't on the mailing list or doesn't read dropzone.com please can you let them know of the change of venue.
