I certainly don't think Atlanta is a bad city... but for someone looking for a taste of Southern History/Feel Savannah is a better choice. Atlanta is a great city... I mean it has the Coca Cola Museum what more could you want? (I should add that I know it has much more then that... but that's what I thought of off the top of my head...)Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife... CSpenceFLY 1 #28 December 4, 2008 Also consider if you go through Atlanta you can also go through Macon. Macon is another city that was not burned during the civil war. There is alot of history here and we have the Georgia Music Hall of Fame.

The need to trash Atlanta as a pile of shiz was not needed. Scott we totally have the NEW world of Coke and the GA aquarium Plus there was that king guy who is buried here. King Tut is in town right now, the terra cotta soldiers from China are as well. I guess you'll have to battle through all the cum ladden whores to get to all that stuff though.Skymama's #2 stalker -

(although not nearly at the scale of savannah...) and is actually an all around nice city... (IMHO) although I was only in the area for a few years... Thanatos340 1 #31 December 4, 2008 I have lived in Both cities. (Savannah for 6 years and Atlanta for the past 15 years) I agree it sounds like Savannah is more what Squeak is looking for but your characterization of Atlanta is grossly overstated. the same "someone selling drugs or a beautiful transvestite with ass milk running down his legs on the streets." can be found in Savannah. In fact I think Per Capita, You will find more Drug Dealers and Transvestites in Savannah. Savannah is a Beautiful City (In the tourist area) but has the same Crime problems and slums as any other city that size (Just like Atlanta). If you get out of Downtown Atlanta, You can also still find lots of old Southern Charm.

SuFantasma 0 #33 December 4, 2008 Quote Savanah or Atlanta, traveling down from Washington to Florida, which would be the better option, Savanah or Atlanta? Atlanta is full, but we are taking applications for openings one year from now. We can't afford to have you come here and drink the little water we have and clog our deteriorating sewer system Y yo, pa' vivir con miedo, prefiero morir sonriendo, con el recuerdo vivo". - Ruben Blades, "Adan Garcia"

futuredivot 0 #38 December 5, 2008 In South Carolina we refer to Savannah as "Charleston's Slutty Little Sister" I've always been told that the reason the city was spared by the barbarian invaders was that the mayor's wife serviced a bunch of Union officers. You are only as strong as the prey you devour

Zep 0 #44 December 5, 2008 QuoteWhat part of Atlanta? What did you do here? How long did you stay? Where did you stay? clarify your shit. I've been to Atlanta 3 times and each time a fat woman swiped my passport which ended up in a orange folder being carried away by some black gorilla and me being escorted to the security lockup and then grilled by illiterate bozos resulting in my missing the connecting flight. I've never had any problem at JFK or LAX, just that shit hole Atlanta. Now that I don't have to fly Delta I shall never again enter the States via Atlanta.
