When and Where was your FIRST jump?

Recommended Posts

Mine was July 20th 2000. A tandem at Elsinore with my dad who jumped with me! I then waited almost a year and then in on June 24th 2001 i started my Aff training at Skydive San Diego in Otay California. This must be the longest training period ever recorded b/c i still don't have my A!!!!

I did my first tandem in November 2000 at Atlanta Skydive Center with "Jack Hammer". When I found out I was moving to Naples, Florida I went back to ASC in January 2001 and completed my AFF. Then I waited awhile until I started jumping again in Florida.

March 18(I believe -- too lazy to get logbook:P) 1995 at Skydive Temple, Salado, TX.

Both Lynn and I did AFF LI that day. I went first, but she got a lower POPS number than I did. Any guesses as to why?:)

Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money.

Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

First jump: a Tandem on July 13th, 2002 at Longmont, CO
Level One AFF: on July 20th, 2002 at Longmont, CO
Level Two AFF: on July 21st, 2002 at Longmont, CO
Level Three AFF: weather permitting on July 28th, 2002 at Longmont, CO :P
So as you can see, I'm a newbie in more ways than one.

Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Feb. 22, 2000, Skydive Space Center, Titusville, FL. I was only going to do 1 tandem, to shake up my suburban mom life a little bit. It was more like an earthquake as a result! :)
