huka551 0 #1 October 25, 2005 I lost my protrack after only 5 jumps! Anyone hear of the company replacing it? Muff Brother 3723
TALONSKY 0 #2 October 25, 2005 It would depend on how you lost it. If you just misplaced it then I would highly doubt it. If however: you lost it due to a riser strike on an externally mounted Pro Trak with their clip, then I am quite sure if you drop them an e-mail you would be compensated. huka551 0 #3 October 25, 2005 That is exactly how I lost it, on its 5th jump, on opening. I'm trying to contact the company, but am having little luck! Muff Brother 3723
fields 0 #4 October 25, 2005 Did your ProTrack come with the 2 black bands to secure them in the external mount? Were they on?"And the sky is blue and righteous in every direction" Survivor Chuck Palahniuk
huka551 0 #5 October 25, 2005 Yes it did, I mounted the clip with they tyes they provided, and then secured the protrack into the clip with the rubber bands they provided. Muff Brother 3723
fields 0 #6 October 25, 2005 a thread regarding replacements I haven't experienced a riser slap and I sometimes have a big PC1 on my helmet. Is yoke size a factor? I mean where the risers sit on the shoulders (close to the neck or out further apart). koppel 3 #8 October 26, 2005 On our DZ we have had 3 occassions where L&B have replaced a Dytter or Pro-Track. 1 riser strike where the appropriate mount and bands had been used (great footage of line twist on opening and a little black box head north real quick ) and 2 cases of faulty screens. On each occassion one email to [email protected] got a quick reply and a positive outcome. Great Service, Great CompanyI like my canopy... ...it lets me down.
