Skydiving Goals for 2008

I realize the last thread along this line was created by an unwelcome troll so I figured I'd try to get a real one going this time.

What are your skydiving goals in 2008? More jumps? New equipment? New disciplines? Improving current skills?

I'll start:

1. Get 250 jumps
2. Get my C license
3. Start flying camera
4. Try wingsuit flying
5. Get into freeflying
6. Make more friends in the sport.
7. Attend more boogies.
8. Promote the sport however I can

More jumps than 07. I was so busy last yr. that I barely had time to turn around. Another night jump would be cool. Missed Lost Prairie Boogie in 07 so that is definatly a must. Geez, I'm only 200 miles away. Bottom Line, more jumps.

I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

My Goals for 08

-400 jumps this season (I did over 350 this year).
-Fly camera for tandems, study hard.
-Work on more bigway belly stuff.
-Perfect my head up flying before moving to head down.
-Get my coach rating and help students.
-Get better on my 132 and improve in my high performance landings.

I hope that getting the chance to do some work jumps on the weekends will help me reach some of my other goals.

1. Be alive on January 1, 2009.

2. Have no titanium and no more scars than I have now on January 1, 2009.

3. It'd be nice if all of my friends can say the same thing on January 1, 2009.

1. Be safe and alive when NYE rolls around next year
2. Do alot more jumps now that I'm out of school and have money
2. Sign up for a Canopy Course, even if I have to travel to it
3. Keep progressing w/ my freeflying and start to learn HD
4. Keep progressing w/ my belly fly, back fly, sit fly transitions
5. Get Jules off AFF and coach jumps so we can jump together
6. Go to my first boogie
7. Make my new Pilot 210 my best friend

3. LISTEN to experienced jumpers
4. Learn to belly fly before doing other shit
5. Balloon jump or 2
6. Keep fellow skydivers safe
7. Go to the Farm
8. Complete everything on this list and then some

This year was full of accomplishments for me. For 2008 I aim to:

- Get my FAA Rigger Cert
- Begin flying camera
- Surpass 1000 jumps

I think all are within reach in 2008.

Same as last year.

Get over a 100 jumps.
Do 2ways with a new jumper I met over the internet.
Jump with trackingpants (if enough experience aquired during summer)
Stop being such a wuss, suck it up, and go to the DZ, even if I don't have anyone to talk to.
Get more expierience so I can jump at a smaller DZ that is only 10 kms from my house so I don't have to take the shitty train anymore for 100s of kilometers to be able to jump at a DZ with a friggin" huge landingarea.

Guess that's it for now.
