I remember one night in college I got dared to go outside in shorts and short sleeve t-shirt when the temp was 0 degrees and see how long I could last. That was at RIT in Rochester, NY. An Alabama boy doing that? I lasted about 5 minutes. They cut a hole in the ice, you jump in, get out and then spend the next 12 hours trying to figure out how to get warm again. I jumped into Lake Wissota in Chippewa Falls, WI on 1/1/08. Skydive Wissota cancelled their demo into the event because it was too cold. I raised like $100 for Big Brothers/Big Sisters to get to jump into the lake.
