Can't believe no one has mentioned <<< Cutaway >>> yet ... Of all the skydiving movies ... this has to be the absolute WORST...!!!...
You didn't even want to tell people you jumped if they had seen this one, it was so bad. For that matter, you may have wanted to quit.

Yeah, it was bad all right. Red Line cutting away to his death at the end and showing his perfectly intact and bloodless body laying on the ground like he was asleep? Give me a fucking break. Drop Zone was much more entertaining.

I thought that all of them sucked... big time!

Well, yeah all three storylines sucked. Wesley Snipes and Gary Busey are good actors that made it entertaining, sometimes funny in a dumb way. Oh and did I say I got to do the bomb bay door exit from the pink Porter used in that movie? B|

Tropic Thunder has to be a real contender for worst movie ever. I thought that thing would never end. It must be a love-it-or-hate-it film, though, because I know plenty of people will disagree with me on that one.

My daughters forced that one on me. Now I know what taking castor oil must be like.

Worst big-budget, movie that was critically-acclaimed (for reasons I cannot fathom): "The Deerhunter"

It took me three tries to sit all the way though it. I only did so so I could trash it w/o people telling me "but you didn't watch all of it". I had a cynical friend who was a real movie buff, and also hated it. His synopsis:

Quote

Three friends go to Vietnam. One gets his legs shot off; One blows his brains out playing Russian Roulette; And they all sit around at the end singing "God Bless America"

Basically anything created by M Night shamaylan., what a twsited little f'er he is., there is always about 20 different conclusion to the ending and I dont want to have to think about it.,
I watch to have a beginning and an ending not a riddle within.

Worst of all time? Batman and Robin . . .

Are you flippin' insane. Alicia Silverstone. SILVERSTONE! Holy crap!

That's all that movie had! Some eye candy and full rainbow of bright colors. Now, if it was spliced with some porno with her in it...

I think you have to break it down into worse big budget and worst small budget. While there are a ton of bad small budget films, I can sort of understand why they're failures; first attemps, couldn't afford good actors, ect. and of these "Plan 9 from Outter Space" is generally considered as a classic "worst of all time." Of the big budget films, it does not get any worse than "Battlefield Earth."

There simply was no excuse for how bad that was other than people were afraid to tell Travolta it was a trainwreck on set and in post. It's nearly inconceivable.

I'd argue that Waterworld was the biggest budget failure ever.

From a financial standpoint you might be right, at least domestically, but . . . the acting, costumes and cinematography in "Waterworld" is at least a couple orders of magnitude better than "Battlefield Earth."

Actually the worst financial major motion picture of all time is, if I recall correctly, "It's Pat." "Waterworld" actually made money in foreign. "It's Pat" made something like $60,000 total if I recall the story correctly.

But was it big budget though? I never tried to endure B.E. I saw John Travolta in makeup and I couldn't stop laughing....no way was I could have seen that.

I know I might get flamed for this, but I'd have to throw in Donnie Darko. It had no discernible plot, I was so confused, to this day, I still don't know where my two hours went.

WELL... isn't THAT special! :D:D

God for you! Too cool!

I even did the flailing act, kicking and screaming on the 2nd jump. When everybody crowded around the TV to watch, they all bust out laughing.

I wasn't laughing too hard... I pulled a muscle in my leg doing that. :D:D:D

Titanic was the worst. I avoided seeing it till the last week it was in theaters, thinking it wouldn't live up to my expectations. There is nothing romantic about the bitch letting him fall off the door, he might have survived had she held his fucking hands.

HA! i was gonna mention that one for worst big-budget movie ever. my girlfriend at the time forced me to watch it at the theatre. the whole place was ankle-deep filled with tears. i almost puked on her.. :D
