CazmoDee 3 #1 February 20, 2009 Ok...I ordered a helmet from Paragear, a Bonehead Mamba, and requested that a signature be required for delivery. I didn't want them leaving a box on my porch. UPS calls and gives me a delivery date and time. (2/12 8:00 am to 7:00 pm!). Sure enough I have to leave my house during the 20 minute period the driver stops by. First thing I notice when I return home is the UPS InfoNotice on my door. DAMN! Missed them. The notice says an attempt was made and they will try again the next day. Under the section on the notice that reads "We could not leave the package(s) because:" a box is checked that states "Sender requested a signature to confirm delivery". That's cool, that's what I expected. What I didn't expect was to find a box in the corner of my porch. Driver left the helmet anyway. Here's the rub. The next day, I'm out of the house again. Again I get a UPS InfoNotice on my door. 2nd attempt made to deliver. Same box checked. Signature required. (?) What package were they trying to deliver? That was Thursday and Friday, on Monday, again I was out, and got a third and final delivery attempt notice! I called the number on the back and got a prerecorded message that said my package is being held at the UPS depot. What do you think?I'm behind the bar at Sloppy Joe's....See ya in the Keys! CazmoDee 3 #4 February 20, 2009 I spoke to Paragear the day I received the helmet. It had a crack in the lens. I told them about the noticed and they were as confused as I was. I already have a replacement lens from Paragear. They rock....I'm behind the bar at Sloppy Joe's....See ya in the Keys! Muff 4313

SARLDO 0 #6 February 20, 2009 Sounds like the driver screwed up by not getting your signature for the delivery but left the box anyway. s/he will probably get their ass handed to them if they don't get it too. Go to their depot and ask for your box. Likely they won't be able to produce one."Always do right. Andy9o8 0 #7 February 20, 2009 I think the driver is hiding in the bushes watching your house; and whenever you leave, he fucks with your head.

Caitlin89 0 #9 February 20, 2009 I had the same experience with UPS... I was shipping 2 brand new rigs, 2 wing suits, a camera, and helmet to my house (in NJ) from TX. Obviously, I requested that somebody sign for it. Nope, UPS guy left a huge box worth 15k+ in MY DRIVEWAY. Never again.
ryoder 1,381 #10 February 20, 2009 I solved the problem of package deliveries by renting a box at the UPS Store a mile away. All services can deliver there, there is always someone there to sign, and nothing sits outdoors all day. As for ParaGear, I once placed and order with them, and they tripled the quantities of everything in the order. I had to ship 2/3 back, and get a refund."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones.
