Some people are so fucking stupid they deserve to get ridiculed. Some ho calls 911 three times because a McDonalds cashier refused to give her a refund when they told her they had run out of the mcnuggets that she ordered.

You know, these are funny and all, but what is being done to stop this abuse of an emergency system? I realize the police can't cite everyone who calls, but what other steps are being done?

Personally if I was an operator, I'd tell them not to call again unless they are having a real emergency or they'd be arrested then hang up. If they are dumb enought to call back, send the police.

Then again, depending on if the 911 service in an area is outsourced or not, the company may get paid or bonus per call.
