I will never like the taste of soap. It could come in chocolate and still ...yuck!

I never got the soap treatment. My Dad is a 6'4" Marine, he was enough of a threat to keep us in line!

My mom always had a supply of the hotel sized bars in her purse.

Of course she was and still is notorius for taking sugar and sweet and low packets from restaurants, etc., but the soap was for us kids- it was just the right size to cram into a small child's mouth!

I never had to suck a bar of soap. My mom used a little dish soap with her hand and literally washed my mouth out. She only had to do it once. That reminds me of the first and only time in my life that I ever heard my mom say fuck. She was on her hands and knees getting something out of a lower cupbord and stood up and cracked her head on the open upper cupboard door. It dropped her to her knees and out it came.I was about 15 at the time. After I picked my jaw up off my chest I asked her if I needed to get the dish soap. She got a chuckle out of that.

I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
