eeneR 1 #1 March 9, 2009 I wanted to jump in here and start this thread. I am so excited! I had a 3068 calorie burn last week in the gym alone! Had 5 great work outs, 2 weight, 2 cardio and one combined long weight and cardio work out! YAY! How did everyone else do last week? She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto
MrFreefall383 0 #2 March 9, 2009 Good job on the huge burn. You're a badass. Last week was horseshit for me, I was coming off having tweaked my knee on a long run with Senior Chief Wyco. Ran Friday for the first time in a week after the injury, and didn't have any pain for a mile and a half, so today I ran my usual 10k for the first time in almost two weeks. No pain at whatsoever, barely out of breath till the last 1/8 mile, and I ran it almost two minutes quicker than my last time, at 51min 57sec. I'm smoking the shit out of the 10k so in a few weeks when I run my first 10k charity event two days after my birthday, I'll smoke that one too. SarahC07 0 #3 March 9, 2009 I'm breaking my knees back into running - no pun intended. I had surgery for a partially torn patellar tendon about 3 1/2 months ago. I'm running 2 miles in the AM about 4 or 5 times a week. Doc's pretty much told me no longer than 20 minutes of running until the end of March. Not too long ago, I was running a 4-5 miles in the AM ... this lame 2 miles is killing me. BUT I'm thinking about adding some weights in the evening. Now if only i wasn't eating reeses bunnies at work, I'd be in great shape.
prepheckt 0 #4 March 10, 2009 I've been working with a personal trainer for the past month, three times a week. I swear this guy is a sadist or an aspiring Navy SEAL. I asked for a hard trainer when I spoke to the personal training director and I got the spawn of Lucifer. He has me do a lot of calisthenics, and weights, running and he has a penchant for using Swiss balls and a rope in the most ingenious yet painful manner. I go to bed wishing plague and pestilence on his unborn children, or that he'll die in a fire. So far, no luck. He basically throws me a beatdown for an hour and I end up crawling to my car, shaking and sick, in which I have to lay there before I can muster enough energy to drive home. Why keep working with him if I hate him that much you ask? Because I'm in awesome shape and I can do my laundry...on my abs. In addition, I have to keep eating everything I can get my hands on. I estimate I'm consuming near 3000 calories a day, and I keep losing weight. This annoys me because no matter how much I eat, I'm hungry an hour later. Knees are a pain in the ass to get back to normal after surgery or injuries and some times you can't get there so you have to make the most of anything you are now able to do. Good luck with the rest of your recovery.TPM Sister#130ONTIG#1 I love vodka.I love vodka cause it rhymes with Tuaca~LisaH You having a clean thought is like billyvance having a clean post.iluvtofly
ACMESkydiver 0 #6 March 10, 2009 Congrats on your efforts! Me, well I have finally hit the 40 pounds off mark!!! Uh, unfortunately the last 3 pounds or so was due to not eating for 2 days straight due to a nasty virus, but ah wells.... I am healthy again today! Ha-ha! And I may even do a light workout late tonight. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
