RkyMtnHigh 0 #1 March 1, 2006 Jeiber and I were talking about if I left my industry after 10+ yrs, what would be really cool and relaxing to do. He said he'd choose to be a Porn Star and I thought it'd be cool to poke flowers into styrofoam and a vase, hand them to the customer and say "Have a nice day"Feel free to add other creative ideas of a cool job you'd like to have. _________________________________________

Unfortunately, I worked in both long ago. When customers get to relax, you don't. After all, the point of relaxing is NOT to work. Consequently, owning/working at a coffee shop or working at a resort can be *very* stressful especially if you're concerned about customer service.
 lisamariewillbe 1 #9 March 1, 2006 Walmart Door Greeter - Although a no brainer, this has got to be the worlds most BORING job. Own and/or Work at a Flower Shop - Highly stressful, you are dealing with something that has a short shelf life and even shorter while working with it. It is art. Owning it would add to the stress. Not to mention the customers who think you did not do a good job, want a refund, yet you cant send the flowers back. Own and/or Work at a Coffee Shop - Same as above except you get to deal with teens who think they are cool, business people in a rush, and special orders like "I want a Vanilla latte hold the foam add whip cream , and just a dash of cocoa powder...I SAID JUST A DASH thats a pinch " Make Arts/Crafts and sell online and/or at shows - Youd work hours and make little, although a living can be made, most artists are not compensated for their time in the project. Work at a Resort where people come to Relax - Since others go their to relax people who work at those places have to take on more stress because they are compensating for the rich people who are relaxing and demanding. Work as a PornStar - If a girl can fake it would be not to bad, although a guy has to "work" to get it up sometimes, esp if the girl is someone mentally he is not tuned to be attracted to. Be a Bartender at a Swimup Bar in Mexico/Bahamas - same thing as resorts... except now your dealing with drunks on a more regular basis. Be a TourGuide on an Exotic Island - That doesnt seem to bad... although it would get to be to much of a routine and thus similar to a greeter at wal-mart. Be a JumpMaster - Most stressful of them all. Can be rewarding, and generally it is, but it appears from reading the threads pertaining to being a jump master that it is VERY stressful.
