Having just spent Saturday skiing a foot of new powder, I must say the ski bum option is missing.[:/]

Working the lifts while everyone else is skiing in your new snow? Standing in the blizzard watching snowbunnies fall on the loading ramp, again?

I think everything you do for money has a down side. Maybe being a brew master at a good microbrewery, or professional model maker, or . . . I don't know. Anytime someone is paying you for a product or service, or to perform a job, there will be things you have to do, therefore, stress. But nothing good gets accomplished without some stress. Nothing wrong with that. Me, I'm an air traffic controller, and I love it. ;)

I think working at a swim-up bar might get pretty gross after a while. All those drunk guys sitting on a stool all day drinking free booze; just pay attention to how many times you see them get up to go to the bathroom. EEEWWWWW.

Depends on how the bar is set up though, I guess. If the pool is separate and you're someplace dry, it would be ok.

Unless you're rich enough not to need to make money, any of the choices that start with "own" would probably be out

There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)
