Shell666 0 #7 May 13, 2009 Both mine do. Herc just generally twitches a lot. Bug twitches and makes noises. Like she's talking to someone. Which is strange because she's deaf and couldn't hear them answer anyway. 'Shell

LuckyMcSwervy 0 #9 May 13, 2009 When I had puppers in my life I loved to watch them dream. Their whiskers twitching, little barks, feet moving like they're running. Love it!! My little kitty does this now, except she obviously meows instead of barks. Sooooo cute!! Always be kinder than you feel.

MikeJD 0 #16 May 13, 2009 What I'd really like to know is, do animals wake up and realise it was a dream, like we do? I'm guessing that kind of concept is beyond them, so that as far as they're concerned dreaming experience and waking experience are all the same. No wonder they act so weird sometimes. Shell666 0 #19 May 13, 2009 Quote i think they actually do know the difference.. Not my Bug. If she's dreaming and twitching and talking and it wakes her up, she'll jump off the couch and go running around the house looking for whatever it was in her dream. Maybe one day she'll find it. Shell666 0 #21 May 13, 2009 Quote Bug sounds adorable. Has she always been deaf? Yep, since birth. Or maybe she's just that smart and it's selective! She seems to know when I open the treat cupboard in the kitchen. But maybe it's just that Herc comes running first! 'Shell
hungarianchick 0 #22 May 13, 2009 Quote Like this little guy? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-0dzKH1Rfs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2BgjH_CtIA I don't know, that dog looked like he was having a seizure. The standing up, the wide eyed, confused stare looked like a post-ictal stage. I hope the owner had him checked out by a vet if he/she wasn't too busy posting videos. As for my cat, yep she dreams. She wimpers and flips her tail, but nothing dramatic. She is too dignified for that. "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
