I went to college in Maine, all I can tell you is the people from the Boston area were some of the funniest people I have ever met and biggest and baddest partyers I have ever known so I think your dad needs stop fantasizing about Paula Deen and her frikkin pecan pie and get out of the house more.

The ONLY reason I know about Paual Deen is because I went to grad school in Savannah. So...as they say in Savannah, "y'all can kiss my grits"

I have lived in CT for 20 years, save for the 2.5 years in grad school. Some New Englanders are cold and withdrawn, and some are the warmest and most welcoming people I've ever met.
