The Dominican Republic

Don’t feel bad for me but I’m being dragged kicking and screaming to the Dominican Republican by a few friends.
No it’s not due to me being such a great guy……I’m there to translate English into Spanish.
Some of the guys are going golfing and a few are going fishing……I don’t golf nor am really into fishing.
What is there to do there? We are not staying in an all inclusive so any suggestions would be nice.
I was thinking maybe if my leg gets better to rent a moped and look around town but……I hear it’s a little dangerous?
I was also thinking of maybe renting a jet ski for a day or two…..but then again I may accidentally get lost and end up in Hattie.
Who has been there in September and what would you recommend?
And no I’m not bringing you back any Viagra or Oxycoton (that stuff sucks!)

they drink somethin called marijuanna

its herbs in a bottel filled with your favorite booze and its legal to bring it back to the US

Yep, had a girlfriend in the peace corps there.....went to visit and I knew I wasn't in Kansas anymore when I saw the first burning tire barricade in the road and the taxi driver said..."Don't tell anyone you are an American"

it is an extremely poor third world nation which everyone should check out for some perspective once in a while. The beaches are really nice there though.
