I used to have an '02 sporty custom... lot of mods made. Was plannin' on puttin' a rake kit and fat tire kit on it, but got in a wreck and totaled her out.:( Before and afters below...

Now I ride one a them thar rice rockets. Got it for $900. Speakin' of which... anyone near Mt. Fuji want a bike for real cheap? I need a quick sell!

Interesting head light....

I was gettin' ready to change that out too... Loved the look of it and paid plenty for it, but the light it put out wasn't near enough for me. If they ever came out with one that had a much brighter light output, I'd go for it, but as of right now, no.
Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.

I love bikes - I had my bike licence for 10 years before getting my car licence :)

I live on the Isle of Man so it's the perfect place for a bike.

Right now I have a Blackbird (went 2,600 miles on it to Empuriabrava and back to take my AFF on it last year), a CBR600 for going to work on (when I'm not cycling in) and my streetfightered Honda Hornet.

thought I share some of my previous bikes:

1: my first bike, started out as a 1994 GS500 when I sold the bike the only past left from the original GS500 were the engine and the wheels everything else had to be replaced from all the times I laid that bike down. it took a crew of many ppl helping me to keep on that bike on the road lol ...

2: me passing a busa on my first track day.

3: my DR650 urban assault vehicle tourer.

It's a lot of fun to ride, it's geared down so it maxes out at 130 but the trade off is that it accelerates real quick and lifts the front end over most lumps in the road. My engine guy is trying to get me to NOS it. I am so tempted :)

A couple more photos :)

You have no clue if you want to say that about Suzuki bikes.

You obviously missed the history of bikes since 1962 til present.

250cc TT scrambler?

The GS1150E?

The GSXRs

The Various GP bikes they put forth?

BTW the Katana is the bike that made all manufactuers go back to the drawing board and come up with better bikes.

The original Katana 1000 is a museum piece of technology.

BTW if you would care to race your R1 against my old bike I think my old bones might be up for it.

Of course my bike is heavier and so am I.

However I am familiar with the position of the throttle stop.:D

You ever get a WERA license?

The MXers?

hhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Myself, even though I am a died in the wool harley man, would never down any brand, (other than the chinese bic lighter bikes) Seems every manufactuor is putting out very good products..

Simply a matter of taste, for which one is best!

Yep it depends on the person and what they like. All the bikes have found their niche and all are good.

It is the rider who can be the dumb ass for getting a bike that does not fit his needs. (that was for the guy above talking smack about suzuki not towards you Warped)

I'm the Mod at Nedthetoothpick.com, we have every type and size of biek riders there, and never had a single bad word said yet..(3 years) of course we kid with each other, that is simply part of riding!

But to outright insult someones ride....makes no sense to me!

Especially sense I know mine is the best!:D:D

I still have a 4 bank mercury carb balancer....
Haven't used it in years, but I still have mercury for it too!
:D

I have the Dial type, I prefer the mercury...

Gawd, I remember the first time I ever used mercury sticks, I rev'd the motor, and shut off real fast...Mercury went flying all over the shop!:$

I am a mod at www.chicsride2.net and we have all types of rides there too. No one is left out and we encourage cruisers to join. Even tho we have more sport than cruisers but the cruisers are joining in more. I also created a Riding Group (we are not an MC) for women with every style of bike and we even invite women who have scooters for crying out loud. So there is no discrimination in my world of bikes. :)

Here is a pic of our group about a year ago.

I have to agree with Skyrider, all the manufactures are putting out quality bikes (if they aren't they won't be around long). Bike bashing is a moot point. Just because it's not for you doesn't make it a bad bike.

I grew up riding dirt bikes and then "rice burner" street bikes. I liked them but the cafe' racers are not made for someone 6'4". Just not comfortable for me.

Started hanging out with a bunch of Harley guys 20+ years ago and that's what I like now.

I can appreciate all bikes and do. If I had something that went 150-200mph I would kill my self!!

Going that fast skydiving NO PROB! Just won't go that fast that close to the ground any more.

Your bike is sweet!! I love the rims.

I have been on a cruiser and I can see why people like them. They are comfy. :)

I'll post your link over at Neds, we have several female riders, one Iron butt competitor, that is recovering from a crash right now, and another that lost her left arm, in a crash a few years back (bad doctoring)

Another young lady that lost her ride last year, just had a Sportser bought for her by one of our Aussi brothers, and he is letting her pay it off as she can afford...(talk about friends,,,he hasn;t even met her, just wanted to get her back on wheels)

Here is a shot of me with Night*Sky, our Iron Butt 're

She was on a cross country , I was on my way to canada, we hooked up in oregan!
