DavidB 0 #109 October 1, 2009 Quote Quote Yours truly setting a small piece of glass last weekend: You love the caulk, huh?? I hate leaks even more than caulk, so it got the "suspenders & belt" treatment. A 3/8" strip went in before I emptied the tube around the perimeter. Someone had replaced that piece of glass in the past. The only place it was still attached to the pinch-weld was about 18" around the top-left corner & down the left side. Took us about 30 seconds to peal the glass out. It was so loose for so long the trim has worn gouges in the glass along the right side & bottom edges! Pic of 3/8" strip-caulk & trim clips in place, before glass install. Setting blocks (standing up in pic) pushed down on their side easily afterward. When the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.
