JohnDeere 0 #2 December 2, 2009 The plane looks to be headed SSE. Thats a weird direction for them to be flying over SDD. At least now they stay further to the south on there westerly inbound to DFW. DavidB 0 #3 December 3, 2009 First thing that made my heir stand on end was the jump plane cranking over to the right with floaters out. I mean... WTF was that about?!? I had a similar experience (plane making a big maneuver when it shouldn't be) but it was a C-182 & caused by the pilot's door popping open (he put his left foot down, closed the door & tried cranking it back to the right). Since I was doing a solo & I saw I could still make a "designated landing area," I exited instead of making another pass. Result was a stand-up under a T-10 (@ 185lbs).
