LouDiamond 1 #26 December 15, 2009 What are all you guys.....NEW? A top down shot of that rig in freefall was the cover of the Parachutist shortly after the movie came out. I think I still have it somewhere actually. If memory serves me, it's a Jav. Although a good many UPT rigs have shown up in Bond movies. I can't remember which Bond movie it was but there is a good shot of the Wonderhog embroidery on a mudflap at one point. Some of the containers were base rigs, like in the Bond movie where he skis off the cliff and dumps and his canopy is a big Union Jack. I think that jump was actually talked about in the afore mentioned Parachutist. The jumpmaster on the aircraft appears to be wearing MC-4 or more likely an MT-1 series parachute. diablopilot 2 #27 December 15, 2009 As I remember from both an article in Parachutist about the shoot, and talking to BJ himself about it, it was a custom Javelin, or a couple of them in fact.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. muff528 3 #28 December 16, 2009 Quote It looks like a proper rig ..... TSE - Thomas Sports Equipment Didn't some of the earlier 007 films use TSE Equipment?.....maybe Zerox (looks a lot like a vector)? I seem to remember that being discussed years ago on the porch after jumping but the beer light had been on for a while, so......(shrug) who knows? 2cmyzx 0 #30 December 16, 2009 I think Al Mcdonald from Flying High Manufacturing, in Alberta Canada made most of the rig's used in the Bond Movies. http://www.flyinghigh.net/Company.html

I asked Al when I saw this thread and this was his response... "Good thought, but we just did the rig worn under the suit jacket/pants......
