Meh, I'm so done with programming... it isn't what I really wanted to do anyways, just got suckered into it by the military because I already knew how. 5 months till separation and I can get back into the hardware.

Got an awesome job lined up doing managed IT services (firewalls, routers, and switches)

Holy crap replies!

It wasn't necessarily a big project just something I didn't know 100% at this point.. but I just sat down and grueled through it.

And I agree with whoever mentioned getting out of programming.. it isn't always the most fun! Neither is IT in all aspects but it definitely leaves more hair that didn't get pulled out of your head..

But remote managing hardware provides for very flexible hours and little time at a desk...

I went snow boarding with my new boss a few weeks ago... we were riding in the back seat of the truck, configuring firewalls and streaming hulu B|
