micduran 0 #12 March 24, 2010 QuoteCustom Homes and Remodeling. Uniquely designed for you and built to last for generations My $0.02 Can I put in a vote for this one? Says that both new homes and remodels are unique. Not that you build pre-fab homes. the "last for generations" sounds odd but I can't tell you exactly why.Be patient with the faults of others; they have to be patient with yours. quade 3 #13 March 24, 2010 "Homes" is the larger set. It should come first because it's more important. Further people live in "homes". They may use a remodeled kitchen or bath, but they live in the home so the connection is more personal. "Built for generations" has two implications, but the important one is that it's a home of the quality and worth of being passed down from parent to child. It pulls on heartstrings and is in reality a bit unrealistic in modern times, but is still a good phrase.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
Anvilbrother 0 #14 March 24, 2010 It reads as a verb to me that you build custom homes, and do some remodeling, not that both is custom. Isn't any home remodeling custom anyways? mtbriles 0 #18 March 24, 2010 The first one because when you say Custom Homes that means you build a home unique to the owner, if you say CUstom Remodeling thats like and obvious statement, if its being remodeled its most likely going to be custom for your customer. muff528 3 #19 March 24, 2010 Custom = Uniquely Designed for You (Specializing in) Custom (-Built) Homes & Remodels Since 19??. ( ) = optional or Designing, Building and Remodeling Custom Homes for ?? years. (? Generations) I understand the urge to include "for you" to try and "personalize" the message, but I never thought that made any real difference and sounds like pandering. DJL 232 #25 March 25, 2010 I chose #1 because remodeling is custom almost by definition so what's the point in saying that it's custom work when you can clarify that the home building is custom work.
