Nataly... I think that was aimed at me.

Skyrider... Keep telling yourself that as those Kawi's blast by you. And stop sending me those PM's, I told you I don't date guys that ride big twins!;)

I would find it hard to be offended by being called cute. But then, I'm just hard to offend.
I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet..

But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

I think I mostly referred to guys as "cute" when I was really young (school-aged). And I don't think guys at that age minded.

At my age now, if I say a guy is "cute," it's probably someone way younger than I am. There just aren't any middle-aged men who seem "cute" to me. Not even George Clooney. (But I can think of a few other adjectives to describe him.)

I agree with this statement 100%.

The word "cute" can also sound condescending. It's just not a word that I would use to compliment a grown man.

see i'm the opposite of that. when i was younger, as in at school, i liked it less than i do now. not the best compliment in the world, but still a compliment

Depends on the inflection of her voice, where her hands are and where she is looking.
If said after a hug.....then yeah it's bad.
If said before a hug.....oh yes it's GOOOOD!

If a woman says to me: "You're really cute!"
I'll say: "Thanks!"
If she says: "Your car is really cute!"
And I say: "Damn! Now I have to sell it. Interested?"
She'll probably think: "Oh, great, now he's trying to get cute with me."

Guys, there's no winning this one.

More and more I'm getting the impression that men have an aversion to "cute" by default, but that sometimes you can get away with it depending on the context..

Is that a pretty fair statement??

A woman can call me cute all day long, but when one standing with me in the airport security line calls my computer bag cute and asks me where I got it, she might as well call me gay. This would be fine if I was, but as a straight man, it obligates me to do some explaining.
we need to talk about your flare..
