JerryBaumchen 1,048 #1 March 26, 2010 Hi out there, I know that this is a complete shot in the dark; but, hey it might work. I am looking for the rather small ( ~8" x ~8" x ~ 2 1/2" ) air compressor that comes in a 2004 BMW Z-4 when the car does not have a spare tire. BMW dealer want $152 for the kit but I'm rather frugal. Any leads?????? JerryBaumchen
captain1976 0 #2 March 26, 2010 Jerry, I'm not sure if BMW has a forum, bu sounds like they could be a great source for parts from wrecked cars, etc. I collect Mercedes and I use the MB forums for what I need. ABerry83 1 #4 March 26, 2010 And that's exactly why I got rid of mine...got tired of fixing and paying a premium for parts/labor, so I got a Honda. Was like I still had a car payment when I had the thing payed off for over a year!!! Now I can have more jumps and am plenty content . They're pretty cars, but boy are they spensive little buggers. Good luck!!!

JerryBaumchen 1,048 #6 March 28, 2010 Hi cap'n, Quote I'm not sure if BMW has a forum, Back when I owned a 840 I belonged to the RoadFly forum; lots of good info there. To everyone: I've located a local BMW parts recycler who has a compressor. He called yesterday & we'll be 'talking' this coming week. Hey, it's only money. Thanks to all of you, JerryBaumchen
