pinwee 0 #1 May 4, 2005 I just got a second hand audible alti, the old orange time-out, and was wondering if anyone knows what batteries it needs or where i can find instructions for it? Any help would be much appreciated. Blue Skies
koz2000 1 #2 May 4, 2005 If I remember correctly it's a Duracell 2CR11108 6 volt 28L . It looks like a minature D-cell. Instructions? only the first (highest alarm can be set) one button makes it go up, one makes it go down..______________________________________________ - Does this small canopy make my balls look big? - J. cbennettjr 0 #3 May 4, 2005 I have the instructions from Cool & Groovy in my hand. The battery is a PX28. If you like I can scan it and email it to you. Let me know. chuck

linestretch 0 #5 May 4, 2005 heads up on the battery, I had troubles finding the exact battery, but did find one that was 6v, and pretty much the same size. Went ahead and got it, an it's still kickin (almost a year old). Could have been I just had a different batt in there to begin with.my pics & stuff! GravityGirl 0 #6 May 4, 2005 Hopefully this is just a public service announcement and not an advertisement! There are several gear stores that still carry the Time-Out batteries, including mine. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear! Anta 0 #7 May 4, 2005 Hey Paul! dz.com has a description of the audible, reviews from other people and a link to the manufacturer at http://www.dropzone.com/gear/Detailed/143.html Am I so beautiful in freefall that you forget about altitude??
chutem 0 #8 May 5, 2005 Does the old timeout automatically adjust for DZ altitude? James
cbennettjr 0 #9 May 5, 2005 Unit will automatically Zero itself out every 20 minutes. You should manually zero it out if: •Jumping within 20 minutes of arrival at DZ OR •DZ elevation differs from airport. To manually reset, hold down both buttons until you hear BEEPS (more than 4...which would indicate a 4,000 AGL BOP.) Any problems let me know. I'll try and help. chuck
