Socal assistance please

Recommended Posts

Hey Socal jumpers. I'm helping out another jumper that might have had a transaction go bad in the classifieds and before its decided to be a scam I was wondering if anyone knows someone by the name of C.A. Mack in the Palmsdale area. The jumper sent money for some items from this person and nothing has been received. They have the mailing address for it, just want to see if anyone knows the name to see if something has happened.

He's iffy - there's been complaints about him before. My transaction with him went okay but it took a lot of nagging ... others haven't fared so well.

Does anyone know if this guy is a jumper or active in jumping in any way other than scamming? It seems strange that he would continue to operate in this manner for so long.

I have his street address in Palmdale, so he doesn't appear to be concerned about being caught, prosecuted, punished.

I am the jumper PhreeZone originally made this post for - I have bought and sold on DZ in the past with no problems. I would hate to start going to COD, send to the drop zone, etc. methods to buy gear.

Well Jerry, sadly that is the way things are these days, not only in the world but skydiving too. If you don't want to be burned then you need to CYA. Yes I understand there are still people you know and can trust to keep their word, however if your dealing with someone you don't know, you must get ref's and chack them out, use a broker or ship to the dz COD only.

Sucks don't it!

Remember when you could leave all your shit laying around all weekend and no one would mess with it, let alone steal it............... Them days are long gone!

Hope you get your money or stuff.

P.S. I do know some "fellas" in Socal who for a small price would be happy to pay a visit and adjust some attitude for you.;)
you can't pay for kids schoolin' with love of skydiving! ~ Airtwardo
