Refrigeration persons, a question

Recommended Posts

Probably a dum question, but on a small ( 1/2 HP) compressor thier are three take offs, one used to connect the Schrader valve,
one is the high side and the other is the low side. With out starting the compressor how do you tell which take off
is high and which is low

Edit to add, it's a new compressor so its never been connected. and no I don't have the original comp.

Skyrider, nice link but no help, The liquid and gas connections are both 1/4 inch.

Looks like I'm going to have to remove the tube plugs and spin it up for a few seconds see which tube
sqirts oil. If a manafacturer is going to use the same diameter take offs I wish they would lable them
Bye the bye it's a Danfoss comp.
