Around here they've been encouraging graffiti artists to cover transformers, switchgear, benches etc with graffiti. Some of it isn't so good - but some is surprisingly good. I'll see if I can remember to get some pictures.
gjhdiver 0 #4 December 3, 2010 QuoteVery cool. Wonder how long it will take for some dumb ass grafiti "Artist" to f**k it up? Probably quite a long time. From my 15 or so visits to Sweden, one thing of note is the cleanliness of their cities and their sense of civic pride. Of course, if it was here in the US, it would be fucked up by tagging before the pictures made it online.
mccurley 1 #5 December 4, 2010 Here in New Zealand I have seen tagging, which is not art on every surface you can imagine. Even on a dirt path. That's right on the dirt!!!!!! Watch my video Fat Women http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRWkEky8GoI

mutumbo 0 #9 December 4, 2010 I bet alot of yall would be truly impressed what some people can create with a can of spraypaint. Now dont get me wrong i dont think it should be painted on some places it is but thatshouldnt detract from the artistic skill it took to paint that. I once saw a video of a group tagging a bridge over pass with a highway full of cars driving beneath them by hanging onto the top edge with one hand and painting with the other. Yeah its still vandalism but it did take some skills. And not all graffiti style art is vandalism. I know alo of skateparks when they first open up will invitempeople to come tag the ramps, so long as nothing obscene or gang related is painted. Gives them a legal way to get their art out there.Thanatos340(on landing rounds)-- Landing procedure: Hand all the way up, Feet and Knees Together and PLF soon as you get bitch slapped by a planet.
