saxboy 0 #1 January 16, 2011 Hey guys! I want to share with you this very good way to return to your home from the DZ if you have a flat tire on your bike.. I didn't had a repair kit with me BUT I had my rig!!:-)) I was took two rubbers from the main bug and Check the result...:-)) It works really good without problems.. The only difficult thing is to insert the knot inside the tyre. It keeps with full psi on the weel for 2 days!!!!

Many sports bike tires don't look to different to that on the shelf. wmw999 2,116 #9 January 16, 2011 I did the same thing once with a car tire that had a nail go into it. Works well, doesn't it. And yeah, those tires aren't good at all. At least on the center. You can see in the center (not at this picture) the metal lines inside the material.. It was my boss's bike and I am motorbike technician.... And the reason for that was a very small stone..!! To understand the shape of the tire :-)))

I just asked cause my bike is essentially "slick" (very similar to your picture). My bike has <1000miles on it since new. I don't have racing slicks on either.Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.
