Hey guys!
I want to share with you this very good way to return to your home from the DZ if you have a flat tire on your bike..
I didn't had a repair kit with me BUT I had my rig!!:-))
I was took two rubbers from the main bug and Check the result...:-))
It works really good without problems..
The only difficult thing is to insert the knot inside the tyre.
It keeps with full psi on the weel for 2 days!!!!

Jeeze...an ounce of prevention is worth ...

That bald tire should have been 86'd many miles ago.

but then the OP is from greece, and i've seen much worse stuff there. and since their economy is down the drain, they may wont even get new tires in the shops.. :P

Firstly are you sure the tire is bald? Many sports bike tires don't look to different to that on the shelf.

Secondly improvisation really impresses me - I like seeing people think laterally.

I did the same thing once with a car tire that had a nail go into it. Works well, doesn't it.

And yeah, those tires aren't good at all.

Yes Man!!
This tire was really bald! At least on the center.
You can see in the center (not at this picture) the metal lines inside the material..
It was my boss's bike and I am motorbike technician....
And the reason for that was a very small stone..!!
To understand the shape of the tire :-)))

Ok thanks for the explanation. I just asked cause my bike is essentially "slick" (very similar to your picture). My bike has <1000miles on it since new. I don't have racing slicks on either.

1) After almost thirty years riding & wrenching my own? Yeah, I'm sure.

2) I respect self-reliance. That's a separate issue.
