"Saving the earth, one beer at a time"

Very cool. Now, they'll still have some solid waste after the anaerobic process in finished. Will this be useful as cattle feed, or might it be to the compost level by then?

I like how this cuts down on the transportation costs, too. The diesel fuel footprint of many products is much higher than we imagine. Using things in place can really reduce that.

The Fort Collins brewery that uses wort heat to keep the loading dock frost free is interesting too. So many industrial processes put out so much waste heat and it's a shame to waste it. But, of course, it takes a large capital investment to utilize it. The payback time would be in years, of course.

I'm still shocked it took ~12 hours for a BF thread with "beer" in the title to get a response.:S
What happened to the old BF?[:/]

At that point I think they can sell it to Anheuser-Busch and it can be used to make Bud Light.
