quade 3 #2 March 25, 2011 I'm going to say because The Eagles, while Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, aren't really rock and roll. They're a SoCal "country" rock or "folk" rock thing, but not actually rock and roll. I think the closest they ever come is "Life in the Fast Lane", but that's about it. It does seem odd that "The Dude" wouldn't like them, because they're pretty f'in' "mellow" and seem like they'd be right for getting high in a hot tub.
