Favorite beer?

Recommended Posts

I just recently finished the last of the "Mystery Langs" in my fridge - as I'm sure you know, those labels were particularly prone to coming off after any time at all in the slushy environment of a boogie cooler. It was kind of fun for a while opening one up and seeing if you got blonde, porter, amber, mandarin, or huck & honey.

LOL

Mine are pristine... and even still in the boxes to keep all the light out... I knew that was a shortcut to skunky beer... BUT I was curious how long they might be good.

At this point they are going sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

Tonight, I'm enjoying a Widmer Brothers Rotator series IPA, [email]called the x-114 IPA. Interesting beer. Not too hoppy, which alot of IPA's take that easy road, nice spicy finish.B|

I'm currently drinking Sam Adams Seasonal, but my favorite beer is probably Magic Hat #9 (if you haven't drank this beer, go get some NOW). How about you guys? If it's not beer, what other type of alcoholic drink is your favorite?

Arrogant Bastard from Stone. It's a yummy American strong ale.

Racer Five IPA from Bear Republic is #2 right now. It's a live bottle-conditioned IPA like Bridgeport might brew if they weren't so afraid of hops.

It really depends.

In summer, I'll go for whatever white beer is on tap. At the DZ these days, it's Shocktop, an acceptable option. If nothing good is on tap, I'll take a Corona (yes, with a lime wedge; I need to fight scurvy after all! lol... Bonus point for those who remember that Alexander Keith commercial)

When in Canada, for everyday tap, I really like Sleeman's Honey Brown.

For special beers, La Fin du Monde, La Maudite, or La Blanche de Chambly are great Trappist style beers.

The older I get, the less beer I drink, but the more wine I drink.

It's called the Hillbilly Hop N Pop dude.

It's too bad you cannot find any of those clips online anymore... Stupid ass actor had to get arrested for Child Pornography, and AK pulled them all off...

Go to San Diego, find the nearest Pizza Port, and have their Hop 15. It's like a party in your mouth. Hoppy and delicious and oh god I'm gonna come.

A close second is gumballhead by three floyds.

Current after work favs are Goose Island Honkers Ale or 312. Any of the New Glarus beers will rock your socks, although if you're not in southern wisconsin you're sol. Tough, more for me.
