I haven't read the entire thread so forgive me if this was already mentioned- Another scenario includes the male student getting a crush on the female instructor (tandem and/or AFF). This can happen too! And it is equally a no-no. Personally I did not get a crush on my instructors because a) my IAF instructors were female and 2) my coach was my boyfriend anyway.
